Several studies have suggested that the prevalence of chronic kidney disease is a main public health issue and it does not only cause poor prognosis but also brings higher symptom burden including fatigue, edema, sleep disturbance, anxiety and depression. Metabolic abnormalities may also aggravate the health status, quality of life of patients and prognosis. Therefore, early diagnosis and prevention of CKD at the primary care level is a crucial issue
